Hi, I'm Brianna

I'm an Ohio, Texas and Oklahoma based wedding + PORTRAIt Photographer.

I am a southern Ohio native who spends most of her time looking through a lens. I would tell you a town where I'm located but I consider all of southern Ohio my stomping grounds. I'm a lover of fashion and fun outfits-give me all the bell bottoms, felt hats, and Native American made jewelry. I love good adventures-it could be a friends ranch, a little family farm a few states south, or a wedding venue I haven't been to before, I'm probably down to check it out.

How it all got started

If you would have asked 5 year old Bri what she wanted to be when she grew up, you would have been told a Veterinarian or a Teacher or whatever I was feeling that day. I didn't always have the dream to become a Photographer. When I was about 9 years old, I took my first few photos on a film (yes, you read that right, FILM) camera. For years I played around taking photos to enter at our county fair, won a few ribbons and made a few dollars but really just had fun. Throughout my middle school years I was obsessed with equine photography, I was a crazy horse girl... with a camera. Once I reached junior and senior year in high school I took photography a little more serious. I sat down and learned the hard stuff. As I transitioned from high school to college I figured I would just go ahead and take the leap. That's when Brianna Purvis Photography was born. Years have gone by since I picked up a camera for the first time and since then my passion has grown. And now, here I am, living, working and building my dream daily.

Telling your love story

the real, not the posed.

I'm a pretty creative gal but I love to capture the real stuff. You know what I'm talking about- the double chin laughs, the happy tears, the pure love, the silly faces and even the serious faces. I'll give you enough guidance to create beautiful images, but not so much that your photos look posed and characterless. These are the photos that will be cherished for years to come, so they need to be filled will real and true emotion.
